About This Class: Pre and Postnatal Pilates Mat
Open to all fitness levels - experienced Pilates practitioners and complete newbies. While many core exercises are not recommended during this time, a wide range of fun and challenging modifications are not only safe during and after pregnancy, but incredibly beneficial. We will also discuss Diastasis Recti and appropriate modifications, a hot topic for so many of us right now! Please bring your own mat, a large towel, and water. Class will be held outdoors, in the shade.
Please note, if you are currently pregnant or newly postnatal, please consult your physician for permission to take this class.
About Pilates at Oxygen Mind & Body

About Me: Amy Cieslik Mena
A former competitive collegiate athlete, I have worked exclusively full time in the fitness industry for over 15 years. My degree in Exercise Physiology launched me into certifications in personal training, Pilates, barre, spinning, trx and Pound. While I love all forms of fitness, both high intensity and low, for me Pilates is the backbone behind it all. Developing and maintaining a truly strong core keeps me injury free no matter what else I do including my newest adventure: Motherhood - coming in September!
