Please join us at our weekly drop-in group, the Newborn Connection! The Newborn Connection is a weekly meet up for mothers to connect and feel supported as they navigate the early months of new parenthood. This nonjudgemental group is a safe space for parents to share in the joys and struggles of their new life, ask questions about feeding and caring for their baby and get advice from experts in various fields of expertise.  This group will meet every Thursday morning from 10-11am at the SHED Children's Campus in Andover and is intended for all new mothers (first time or otherwise) and their non-mobile infants.

This group is led by Kaleigh Daigle, a certified Labor and Postpartum Doula, Infant Care Specialist and Certified Lactation Counselor. Kaleigh is a mom of two young boys and experienced first hand the powerful impact of support during the postpartum period after attending a new mom's group when she first became a mother.

Please Note - This class has a limit of 12 children & is free for TMC Members and $10/meeting for public. If registering more than one child, please complete registration separately for each child. Special thanks to SHED Children’s Campus for the use of their space. SHED is an independent, nationally recognized nonprofit offering Reggio Emilia inspired programs for children and youth. We hope you will join us in getting to know this special school!

About the Instructor

Kaleigh Daigle has always felt drawn to the world of pregnancy, birth and new life, even from a young age. She was born and raised in Ipswich, Massachusetts and attended The College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina where she received her degree in Communications. She lives in North Reading, Massachusetts with her husband and two sons.

While birth had always fascinated Kaleigh, she was terrified of experiencing it herself. When she became pregnant with her first child in 2015 she decided to make the most of the experience. Through research, reading countless birth stories, completing a HypnoBirthing Course and with the support of a doula, Kaleigh was able to have a beautiful birth experience of her own. In the postpartum period she found unbiased emotional support in a new mom’s group as she adjusted to motherhood. These experiences were life changing and reignited her passion for birth and for supporting others. Kaleigh knew then she wanted to become a doula.

In 2016, Kaleigh attended both a Labor and Postpartum & Infant Care Doula training with ProDoula and began her career as a doula. Over the past two years she has had the honor of helping many families welcome their child to the world and adjust to parenthood in a caring and supported way as a labor and postpartum & infant care doula. Kaleigh has also trained to become a Certified Lactation Counselor, Postpartum Placenta Specialist and Certified HypnoBirthing Educator with Boston Birth Associates.

Kaleigh has learned that each family has their own way of parenting, feeding, birthing and raising their children, but in the end all parents love their children unconditionally. She takes pride in and enjoys supporting each family as they make their way into parenthood in the way that feels best to them.
